Over the years, our team at Platinum Physical Therapy has had the opportunity to work with some of the fastest runners in the United States based in the Boston and Providence areas. Our team of running specialist physical therapists has been fortunate enough to travel with professional runners to Flagstaff, AZ for altitude training camps, provide onsite physical therapy care to runners at professional track meets, and even hosted the Platinum PT Qualifier in 2021 alongside Tracksmith when the COVID-19 pandemic restricted travel for New England area runners to other parts of the country in pursuit of qualifying for the Olympic Trials that year.

James Casady ran track through high school and rowed in college, helping him build his knowledge base of the needs of endurance athletes. James brings over 20 years of clinical experience and expertise in treating runners to provide a unique full body approach to treatment. He strongly believes in treating the whole runner, not just the injured area, to promote long term health and success in sport.

Julianne Rickert was a 100/200m sprinter through her high school and collegiate running career but found a love of distance running after graduation. She brings her strength and conditioning expertise to the treatment of endurance athletes, helping structure weightlifting programs that support the demands of heavy training and build more resilient runners.

Kim Bolick played soccer, ran track, and sailed through high school and college which prepared her for the transition to road racing post-collegiately. She’s had a lot of success on the roads, including qualifying for the Boston Marathon and competing at USATF-NE sponsored races. Kim herself trains at high mileage during her training blocks and can relate to her athletes in their course of care to help design customized plans of care for each runner.

If you are a runner looking for the best physical therapy care provided by athletes who understand the demands of your sport, look no further than our team at Platinum Physical Therapy!
