Julianne is a lifelong Massachusetts resident from North Attleboro. She graduated from Sacred Heart University with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy at MGH Institute of Health Professions after a yearlong internship with Platinum Physical Therapy. As a former Division I short sprinter (100-400m) and long/triple jumper at SHU, Julianne understands the desire to return to sport as quickly and safely as possible after injury and how important the balance of global strength and mobility is for athletes of all types. She has clinical experience in outpatient sports medicine and orthopedics, including Level 1 Dry Needling and Level 1 Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization certifications. She is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist who incorporates techniques used by high-level strength and power athletes to help her patients return to their sport-specific activities. She has worked with professional runners in the Boston and Providence area, including the opportunity to work as Medical Staff at the USA Olympic Track and Field Trials in 2020 and a number of BAA races. Currently, Julianne enjoys hikes with her husband and their dog Mozzarella, and training for longer distance races, including the Boston Marathon.
