Platinum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Inc. has a job opening for a Physical Therapist in Ashland, MA. We are seeking a full-time clinician who values true one-on-one care in a physical therapist–owned practice. We treat a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health conditions without the use of aides or assistants, allowing our therapists to focus on quality care and patient outcomes.

Established in 2004, our Ashland clinic has grown into a multidisciplinary practice offering physical therapy, pelvic floor therapy, lymphedema care, and occupational therapy. The recently renovated space is conveniently located within walking distance of schools, downtown Ashland, local businesses, and walking trails. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming front desk, four private treatment rooms, and a bright, open gym filled with natural light.

We support ongoing professional growth through monthly journal clubs with lunch, continuing education meetings, and opportunities to build the caseload you want to treat. Our therapists also lead evening group yoga and workout classes for patients and members of the community. To support real work-life harmony, we never double-book appointments and use NetHealth, a web-based EMR, to minimize documentation time.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Implement and carry out physical therapy plan of care in one-on-one 40 minute time slots for evaluations and treatments
• Open 56 patient slots/week (37.5 treatment hours with lunch time allocated)
• Manage one’s own schedule through waitlists and communication with front desk
• Engage with the local community at large through 1-2 local marketing events per year
• Complete necessary documentation and chart review as needed within and outside of patient treatment hours
• Participate in continuing education requirements of maintaining a professional license in the state of Massachusetts
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic for patient care

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Willingness to learn and lead by example
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain a positive attitude with patients and staff
• Use of computer for documentation and communication with patients and staff

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active physical therapy license in good standing in the Commonwealth of MA
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics physical therapy setting preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical demands of role of physical therapist including manual therapies, exercise demonstration, and guarding for safety
• Computer use for documentation, email, and marketing
• Lifting and carrying of marketing materials and clinic supplies

Compensation:

• $75,000 – $95,000
